Line

Sound is mostly perceived in the same way, as a source coming from one point. What if that source would be broken into pieces, and every piece would be allowed to speak for itself? That is what “Line” is trying to achieve. “Line” is a long line which consists of loudspeakers spaced 1 meter from each other. The sound on the speakers is a representation of the signal at the input, with a twist. Every speaker plays at the same volume, while the actual volume of the input signal determines the location. With 32 speakers this can become quite a spacial experience.
