My final project consists of a type family of four styles, suitable for book and magazine typography. Originally, its construction principles - especially in the italic and display styles - are based on a detailed study on today’s handwritings that I made upfront. My attempt was transforming handwritten shapes into a text typeface, but not into a script face. I tried to solve the question if there are any new possibilities of transcribing handwritten letters into letters for print. Much of the personality of the typeface comes from this idea. Primarily, it is intended for use in small sizes, but its special character makes it suitable for big and display sizes as well.
