Guia

My final project is a typeface intended for pedestrian guidance. Wayfinding typefaces are usually very rational sans serifs. Guia goes in the opposite direction: It is a sans serif with strong calligraphic features, based on the broad nib pen; without disregarding readability or space economy.

The styles of Guia differ in weight and width, providing the ideal solution for different needs in pedestrian wayfinding systems. As a feature, stylistic sets are provided, making it possible to transform any word into a sign.
