(‘REN’)

(‘REN’) is a visual and sound performance by Wen-chin Fu. This performance is a reflexion on the breathing process. A wearable soft- electronic suit has been designed in order to sublimate the process of exhaling and inhaling. Therefore, the body becomes an organic entity with its own language. By using different breathing techniques, the tension of the body in the suit is adapting to the space. Parts of the body are emphasized in this process. The performance leads to consider the body as a stage to experience this phenomenon.
